The National Reference Laboratory for Breast Health is dedicated to partnering with healthcare providers to maintain and improve the breast health of their patients. Our objective is the detection of the earliest, reversible cellular and molecular changes in the breast ducts that appear long before in situ or invasive breast cancer are detected by current imaging methods through accurate, high quality testing and reporting services. Our unique lab reports, based on objective test results and patient history, allow health professionals to inform women about their current and long term breast health and create management programs that lower the risk of cancer.

Our goal is to provide fast and accurate results that are personalized and easy to explain to your patients. Our board-certified pathologists are focused on breast health and disease and are dedicated to partnering with you to answer your most pressing questions and to confer with you on your most complex cases.

Ordering

Our goal is to make it simple and fast to submit test samples, order sample collection supplies, and to receive high quality, easy to interpret personalized reports.

ForeCYTE Breast Health Test specimen collection kits for our MASCT System medical device or ArgusCYTE Breast Health Test blood collection vials are currently available. Each specimen collection kit includes a patient information brochure, test requisition form, specimen collection directions and all necessary supplies, along with pre-paid shipping to the National Reference Laboratory for Breast Health in Seattle, WA.

Getting Started - Submitting Your First Test

If this is the first time you are submitting a specimen for analysis to the National Reference Laboratory for Breast Health, we request that you register with us using the following steps:

Step 1. Register

Gather the following information:

• Physician/Healthcare Provider name
• Mailing address
• Contact name and Title
• Telephone number
• Fax number

Call our customer support number 206.420.5561 or 800.351.3902 and ask to speak with a customer service representative. They will establish your account. Please note you must obtain an account number before submitting specimens.

Once we have established your account number, we will send you a specimen collection start-up kit which includes everything you need to get started.

Step 2: Order a Start up kit

Indicate which specimen collection start-up kit or kits you require:

ForeCYTE Breast Health Test and/or ArgusCYTE Breast Health Test.

After you review all of the start-up materials, our customer support representatives can provide you with personalized sample collection training.

Step 3: Submit your first test

Once you have received the specimen collection start up kit, please follow the directions and submit the specimen in the pre-paid mailer.

Specimen collection and transport instructions, along with packing and shipping details are included with each Atossa Genetics specimen collection kit.

For established accounts

Once you have established an account number with the National Reference Laboratory of Breast Health, please include your account number on all test analysis request forms. To initiate a new test from your office, please call us at 206.420.5561 or 800.351.3902 for a specimen start up kit. Follow the instructions in the Atossa Genetics specimen collection kit and submit specimens for analysis using our standard test analysis requisition form, complete with your account number.

Please note that all e-mail submissions should refer to the test requisition number and not patient identifying information to comply with patient privacy policies.

Billing/Payor Information

Effective, comprehensive breast health evaluation

Atossa Genetics is a leader in breast cancer prevention and innovative breast health evaluations that can help reduce the cost of breast health care through early detection and personalized genetic profiling for increased treatment effectiveness. Test analysis services conducted by the National Reference Laboratory for Breast Health are based on cytopathology and immunohistochemistry procedures that are standard of care and/or best practise in pathology and are covered by most health care insurance companies.

Insurance Billing:

The National Reference Laboratory for Breast Health can submit bills directly to the patient's insurance carrier. Please obtain a Patient/Responsible Party signature on the Test Request Form and include enlarged photocopies of the front and back of the patient's health insurance card(s) with your test submission form.

Patient Payment:

In the event the patient does not have insurance, or opts to pay for test analysis directly, we allow direct patient payment. Patients may provide credit card information on the Test Request Form or provide a check or money order payable to the National Reference Laboratory for Breast Health for testing services.
